A famous person once said...

"I dropped my silly putty today...it fell "out of hand." Is that on topic for this thread?"
- Mimillo

"I agree whole-heartedly and I sincerely apologize for having started this whole alter-ego thing. The joke has officially gone too far. Fred, please delete my alter-ego from the box - I promise I will never post as Mrs. Pfunk again. It's just ceased to be funny."
- Eve 6

"[Note: The author is not saying Fred is fat... he's just dense. Dutch people are always quite dense. They can't float in pools either.]"
- Jettero

"I think I'd rather have my genitals removed as a result of frostbite then "stand around" inside a walmart. Have you seen the people who shop at walmart?"

Out of the Hot Season 03:03:03 AM

So clearly, I've failed to tell you about any Hot people that have been in movies lately, and now that hardly any good movies will be out until the holidays it's time to update you. I've been a little busy with other things, so I'll recap those items while reviewing films you've either already seen or have already decided not to see.

Since my last post, I got married. That was awesome. I had a great wedding and I hope all MBoxers in attendance had an excellent time. We left for our honeymoon immediately afterword- and the flight was 8 hours long, so I was expecting at least a couple of movies. The plane had those little screens in each seat so you could pick between a bunch of movies or just watch how far away you still were from Tahiti. Unfortunately, it also had an inflight trivia challenge, so I didn't end up watching any movies, and instead kept waking up my sleeping husband to tell him I was still the smartest person on the plane. At one point I told him that seat 47B was trying to make a comeback and that I wanted him to go look and see who was sitting in the seat- and evidently I was annoying enough that he put his headphones on and watched all of Big Momma's House 2. I asked him how it was, and he told me it "wasn't as bad as it could have been." So I guess the movie is better than dealing with your ultra-competive wife trying to outsmart a plane at 3:00 in the morning, but not much better.

Most of the television in Tahiti was in French, so we didn't really see any movies there. We did get to pick up manta rays and swim with tiger sharks, and I totally recommend that because it was fun and educational. Actually, it wasn't that educational. It could have been, but I don't understand that much French. I never got to the lessons on aquatic life.

On the flight home, I watched Curious George. Obviously, no one is Hot, because it's animated. I really wanted to see this movie because I like Curious George and Jack Johnson did all the music. But then I found out that Will Ferrel was the man in the yellow hat, and I hate Will Ferrel (I know you all love him, I don't care.) Now that I was stuck on an eight hour flight, I felt I could give it a chance. And it was good. I probably wouldn't sit down and watch it again, but it kept me entertained. Monkies will do that.

Oh, here's a story! When we landed in LA, we went to baggage claim so we could transfer our bags to our domestic flight. A police officer walked up to my husband and asked him if he spoke English. When he said yes, the police officer asked him if he could do a favor for the police. (This always happens to my husband- he's that guy that always seems the most approachable in a crowd of strangers- he's constantly being asked to take peoples pictures, give directions, help the police....) So Mr. Ghost agrees, and the officer asks him to please wear a fanny pack full of drugs and stand in the crowd to see if a dog could find him. I'm a child, so I giggled and yelled, "Ha! You have to wear a fanny pack!" But my husband put the fanny pack on and the dog came and found him. The dog was rewarded with a sock to chew on. My husband got nothing, and didn't even get to keep the drugs.

I'm going to tell you about more movies later. I can't make this entry too long or your brain will explode with knowledge.
