Wow, I have been incredibly lax about changing the front page. I doubt any of you care that much, but I feel guilty. But then again, I feel guilty about random issues all the time. My eye doctor once asked me if I was a lapsed Catholic because I was squirming with guilt while he asked me how often I changed my contacts and if I ever slept in them. (For the record, I sleep in them every night and they stay in my eyes 24 hours a day until they fall out. I KNOW. But I don't care.)
While I take horrible care of my eyes, I am psychotic about my teeth. I just realized this the other day while I was brushing my teeth in our office bathroom. We share this bathroom with one other company and there was a woman from the other office in there with me. I hate it when people talk to me in the bathroom (unless it's Wink and I've dragged her in there to giggle about boys) so I was already irritated when she walked up to the counter and said, "Somebody must be on their way to the dentist." I told her I was not in fact going to the dentist, and that I just liked to have clean teeth. That's either really weird or I was glaring at her because she looked at me funny and walked away... So I'm thinking to myself that it was stupid to assume that the only reason someone would brush their teeth in the middle of the day would be to go to the dentist- I mean, I'm not the only one who eats lunch, right?
Then it occured to me that I probably brush my teeth in that bathroom four times a day. I just like doing it. So I've been trying to keep track of how often I do brush my teeth on an average day and I've come up with 8-10 times. Is that sort of psychotic or does anyone else do that?
(And I KNOW that I could actually be wearing away my enamel by brushing that much.)
Anyway, good news for Fred! Yay! And a bunch of birthdays coming up- Shandor, P-Funk, and Tugboat all in the next 30 days or so. Probably other people too, but I really just wanted to mention P so I could post a gift idea for him. Someone needs to use this service to get Mr. Belding to call P for his birthday. Pat could ask him about his days on Saved by the Bell and what it was like to work with AC, Screech, Zach, and the whole gang. Other celebs are of course available, though I don't recognize over half of them.
I don't think hardly anyone is actually at work today, so I'm going to go ahead and wish those of you who are a lovely weekend and get on with my day. You know, there's more stupid websites to be looked at out there. I would hate to miss an oppurtuniy to speak to different C List stars. |
